Join Director Dr. Thomas Octave and the choir accompanied by Nancy Finke Sheehan for a concert entitled ‘Music From a Passionate Story’.
Nancy Galbraith is the featured composer. You will hear “Passion of Saint Matthew” and the world premiere of “Stabat Mater”. Galbraith is a professor of composition at Carnegie Mellon University. Her music has been praised for its rich harmonic texture, rhythmic vitality, emotional and spiritual depth, and wide range of expressions. Galbraith has been active for over two decades as a composer of music for symphony orchestras, wind orchestras, chamber ensembles, choral ensembles, and keyboards.
